CE-marking:
The CE marking is a mandatory European marking for certain product groups to indicate conformity with the essential health and safety requirements set out in European Directives. To permit the use of a CE mark on a product, proof that the item meets the relevant requirements must be documented. Sometimes this is achieved using an external test house which evaluates the product and its documentation. The manufacturer is therefore responsible for the CE marking and must make sure that all rules have been observed.
CE-marking of ConSet products:
In the area of electric height adjustable desk frames it has been clearly defined that the products must observe the guidelines in these three directives: the machine directive, the low tension directive, and the EMC directive.
As the process of CE marking can be complicated, ConSet chose to get help from the Danish Institute of Technology. This has resulted in a concrete set of technical specifications and estimations of risks and tests, which all are the basis of the CE marking of our products.
As an example, all ConSet tables for private, nursery or school use are a.o. equipped with a 2-button security panel. This way a child cannot accidentally operate the table. The CE-mark is easily recognized:

Other approvals:
